WISE: Women in Search of Employment is temporarily suspended due to lack of funding. The stipends to pay the participants for attendance while in the WISE Program were cut due to reductions in grant funding by the Department of Economic Security.

Donate today and help us restore this important initiative. The program cost $2300 per participant. PRDVS graduated 15 to 20 participants per year through the WISE job training program.

Job readiness, job hunting and life skills for victims of domestic violence.

Enables participants to become financially independent and not return to their abuser for economic reasons.

Indian business woman pretty smiling officeThe stipends enables the participants to earn money while in the program so that they can afford to support themselves and their children while they have a chance to improve their work skills and their self esteem.

Started in 2001, the program helped more than 80 victims of domestic violence learn skills and improve self esteem and graduated as survivors.
